Logistics and storage sector

The Logistics Company was established in24 January 2011 with a paid-in capital of EGP 204 million. The Kuwaiti Egyptian Investment Company contributes with 75% of the company.

Cement & building materials sector

The Kuwaiti-Egyptian Investment Company (KEIC) has contributed to the capital of Misr Cement Company (Qena) since 1997, with a contribution rate of 9.88% of the company’s total capital of EGP 720 million.

Tourism and hotel sector

Since 1997,The Kuwaiti-Egyptian Investment Company has contributed with 8.37% of the total capital of the company (USD $ 169 million), Misr Aswan for tourism.

Food & Beverage sector

ARAB INTERNATIONAL VEGETABLE OIL CO. for vegetable oil (Aivoc), Establish 2019 under paid in capital 365 EGP, Specialized on soya oil.

policy for new investments
More policies

Our company is looking for investment opportunities through (new projects - increasing the capital of existing projects - buying a share of the capital of an existing project) and focusing on the sectors of (Food - Medical & Pharmaceutical - Real Estate - Retail - Education).

The contributions of new projects does not exceed about 35% of the portfolio of the Kuwaiti Egyptian Investment Company.
The new projects doesn't exceed 40% with same sectors.

Company's policy for new investments

Management should be taken over through an experienced partner, especially in case of new projects.
Potential projects should be with prospected entities.
The final product or service provided Should be easy to market.
The risks associated with any project should be well studied and metigated.
The project should have a potential to grow.
A balanced financing structure with a minimum equity of 50%.

The project should be profitable and have positive cash flows.
Investment in a single sector shall not exceed 40% of the total investment. portfolio and the investment in any project shall not exceed 25% of the total investment portfolio.
The project shall be re-evaluated every 3 years in order to make a decision to continue or exit.
The internal rate of return of any potential project must be higher than the rate of return on T-bills plus the country's risk rate plus an acceptable profit rate for the company.
